Pursuing creativity

β€œFor me, design is about taking action and implementing solutions, not just discussing ideas.”

In my early twenties, I managed restaurants, bars and events, and although I enjoyed it very much and learnt many different skills, I always yearned for a more creative career. Driven by this passion, I saved up to pursue art and design, enrolling in a foundation degree at De Montfort University. This experience helped me clarify my degree pathway, leading me to the University of Derby where I studied BA Illustration. There, I mastered Adobe Suite and visual communication, graduating with First Class Honours. It was during this degree that I discovered Service Design, a field that perfectly blended my skills in creativity, management, systems thinking, and design thinking, alongside my passion for politics, storytelling and making positive societal changes. I am committed to a long and impactful career in the design industry.

I thrive on tackling complex challenges and believe in a methodical, curious and practical approach to innovation. My goal is to create meaningful solutions that are rooted in thorough research and align with the needs and aspirations of communities and the individuals within them. I look forward to continue contributing to transformative projects and making a positive difference through design.
